How to automate Instagram DMs
There are three practical routes: an official Meta-approved tool using the Instagram Messaging API (safest, but requires a Professional account and only replies within a 24-hour window), a desktop automation app that drives your own logged-in session (far more flexible, but against Instagram's Terms of Use), or Instagram's own Saved Replies (zero risk, but still manual). Which one fits depends entirely on whether you need to start conversations or only answer them.

The commonly reported ranges for an established account sit around 100–200 follows and 300–500 likes per day, but a new account may be blocked at a fraction of that. The second is repetitive outbound work — commenting on relevant posts, replying to every comment and DM you receive, showing up daily — and that part can be. For your own content, Instagram's own data download gives you everything in full quality and is the correct method. For a handful of other people's posts, saving in-app or a browser method is enough. For collecting many posts from many accounts on an ongoing basis, you need automated bulk downloading — which is against Instagram's terms and does not grant you any right to reuse what you collect.

How to automate Discord DMs
There are three practical routes: build or use an official Discord bot account for permission-based workflows, keep replies manual with saved templates, or automate a normal user account with desktop software. The official bot route is the safest. Discord explicitly forbids self-bots and unsolicited bulk messages, so normal-account automation and cold mass DMs carry a real risk of account termination.

Discord automation is safest when it uses an official bot account, stays inside granted permissions, and serves users who expect the interaction. Automating a normal user account is a forbidden self-bot, unsolicited bulk messages are prohibited, and false or coordinated reporting is prohibited. Any of those can lead to enforcement, including account termination.

Discord does not publish one universal daily message limit that makes automation safe. Official API limits vary by route and can change; apps must read the rate-limit headers and wait for Retry-After when they receive a 429 response. Those API limits are not permission to run self-bots or send unsolicited bulk DMs, which Discord prohibits separately.

For a server you control, the safest route is an official Discord bot or approved integration posting in channels where it has permission. Define the channels, message copy, cadence, and stop conditions before automating. Desktop software can also schedule normal user accounts, but Discord treats that as self-bot automation and may terminate the account.
