How to schedule Instagram automation with sleep hours and activity intervals
Short answer
Use Schedule in the AngeryWeb Insta control panel for timezone, gaps between runs, breaks and overnight sleep. Use Activity Settings for each feature's minimum interval and workload. These controls pace DM Auto Reply, Engage Feed, Engage Profiles, Auto Follow and Content Scraping; they do not schedule the publishing of your own posts or reels.
Key points
- Schedule controls pacing shared by the app; Activity Settings controls each enabled module.
- A minimum interval is an earliest-allowed spacing, not an appointment or a guaranteed hourly output.
- Auto Follow also has randomized daily follow sessions. Content Scraping can optionally reuse Engage Profiles behaviour.
- Scheduling activity does not add a content-publishing feature or remove platform restrictions.
Choose which activities you actually need
Start in Activity Settings and review the modules you intend to use. Enabling all five is not required. Use the names below to match the existing product description to the control panel.
| Module | Work being scheduled |
|---|---|
| DM Auto Reply | Answers incoming DMs and message requests from your knowledge base. |
| Engage Feed | Likes and comments on your home feed. |
| Engage Profiles | Likes and comments on target profiles you choose. |
| Auto Follow | Follows from suggestions or target followers/following lists. |
| Content Scraping | Downloads post and reel media to a folder on your machine; shown as Scraping in the panel. |
Set the timezone and overnight sleep window
Open Schedule and review Timezone before choosing sleep hours. The panel labels the overnight control Sleep overnight (pause activity), with Sleep start hour (0–23) and Sleep end hour (0–23). Choose the quiet period appropriate to your operation and verify the displayed timing in Overview.
The website demonstration shows sleep starting at 2 and ending at 8 in its selected timezone. This illustrates a 02:00–08:00 pause, not a recommended schedule or a promise of account safety. If you operate in another timezone, do not copy the sample timezone blindly.
Review workload and interactions between modules
- DM Auto Reply: threads checked, maximum replies and reply length are different controls. Qualification filters and deferred replies can reduce the number actually sent.
- Engage Feed: feed items checked and engagements performed are different counts. Sponsored posts and ads are skipped.
- Engage Profiles: choose target links, posts/reels/both and an action mode. Like and comment involves two types of action; a post count is not a like-only count. Already-engaged posts are tracked across runs.
- Auto Follow: consider both follows per run and the randomized number of daily follow sessions. It remembers accounts already followed.
- Content Scraping: set targets, item limits and the save location. The deduplication index prevents downloading the same post again. If optional likes and comments are enabled, collection also includes engagement activity.
Do not treat example settings or community estimates as a platform-approved allowance. Scheduling controls do not guarantee that automation will avoid restrictions.
Check Overview before leaving the app running
Overview shows the master Automation controls, enabled features and Recent activity. Review the next-run information and last outcomes alongside your schedule. A feature being enabled is not the same as a successful run.
If an activity is not running, check its enabled state, the overnight window, its own minimum interval and the shared gap. Then review recent outcomes. For missing replies, also check whether there was an eligible incoming conversation; for missing downloads, check the targets, save folder and whether posts were already collected.
This is a desktop app. Do not assume activity continues while its Windows computer is asleep, disconnected or the app is closed. Pause automation and investigate unexpected account restrictions rather than repeatedly forcing runs.
Keep activity scheduling separate from content publishing
If your search was for scheduling Instagram posts, reels or Stories to publish at a chosen time, that is a different task. The current Instagram AI Systems description covers replies, engagement, follows and media collection, not a publishing calendar.
Content Scraping downloads media; it does not automatically repost it. Use the feature guides below for each supported activity and the action-limits guide to understand the difference between a local setting and an externally enforced restriction.
