For Content Scraping, both describe collecting post and reel media from selected profiles into a local folder. It supports images, videos and carousel slides, with an item limit per run and an index that prevents downloading the same post again. It is not a one-click promise to export every item from any account.

Enable the posts grid, reels grid, or both for your target profiles. A carousel contains several media files, so the number of saved files can differ from the number of posts collected. If a run saves fewer items than expected, check the selected grids, per-run cap, existing download index and whether your account can access the target content.
Compare collection with exporting your own informationDoes it export saved collections, followers or Instagram DMs?
Those exports are not part of the described Content Scraping module. It collects media from target profile grids, not saved collections, private messages or a follower database. It does not bypass access to private profiles or grant rights to reuse someone else's content. Scheduled collection also does not publish or repost the downloaded media.

One profile link per line. A random target is chosen for each run so collection is spread across the accounts you track.

It reads the grids you enable
Posts, reels, or both. Carousels are walked slide by slide so a four-image post yields four files, not one.

It skips what it already has
An index of everything downloaded means repeat runs only fetch posts that are new, so the folder never fills with duplicates.

It saves to your machine
Images and videos are written to the save folder you choose. Nothing is uploaded anywhere — the files are local.

You open the folder in one click
The app shows the resolved path and the number of items collected, with buttons to open the folder in Explorer or copy its path.

- Downloaded media stays local — the app does not upload, repost or publish anything for you.
- Collecting data from Instagram by automated means is against Instagram's Terms of Use, and downloaded content remains the copyright of whoever made it. Using someone else's media commercially is your responsibility, not a licence the app grants.
- Private accounts you do not follow are not accessible.
